In the morning 19th PHOTO RALLY. Registration will take place in Oxford Exhibition Room of Alondegia cultural centre between 9:00 am and 10:00 am.
10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. FOOD MARKET in Eusebio Gurrutxaga Square.
At 11:00 a.m. Children's and youth GAMES in Gernika Park: corn cobs, sokatira, toca, frog, hoops and bowling.
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (two sessions) Free octopus puppet workshops for children aged 6-10 in Gernika Park, organised by the Algorri Interpretation Centre. Advance booking required: info@algorri.eus / 943143100
11:00 am. Popular regatta, 17th OCTOPUS DAY FLAG, organised by the Telmo Deun rowing club.
During the morning Octopus Skewers and Octopus with potatoes for sale at the txosnas.
11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Free admission to visit the Fishermen's Guild's SALES ROOM
11:15 a.m. HAMAIKETAKO (morning lunch) for retired Octopus fishermen and women.
11:30 a.m. PARADE led by “txistulari” musicians and Astindu dancing group.
12:30 p.m. Parade with ZUTRIK “trikitilari” musicians.
12:30 p.m. ‘The Octopus of the Flysch’ guided tour in Spanish (at 11:00 a.m. in Basque). 50% discount with the code olarroeguna. Reservations at geoparkea.eus.
2:30 p.m. POPULAR LUNCH, in Sagarbide.
