Moilaberri Estazioa
This iconic building was designed by the architect Ramón Kortazar for the now-defunct Urola railway. It was built on the new quay, or “Moilaberria”, constructed in the early 20th century, which was the point of arrival for goods produced in the Urola Valley. From there, the valley was also supplied with the raw materials needed for production.
Having served as the local health centre for some years, it now houses the Tourist Office, the permanent exhibition “Zumaia through the history” and the offices of the municipal Department of Tourism and Trade.
