The mouth of Urola river
The River Urola rises at the foot of Mount Aizkorri and, after flowing almost 60km through the Urola valley, follows a series of large meanders before finally joining the sea between the towns of Iraeta and Zumaia.
Three areas are specially protected by the a local Protection Plan and included on Nature 2000 Net in the mouth of Urola river area:
